About us

We are a small charity called the Disability Advice Project. We help people with issues around their long term health conditions/disabilities or issues that affect their carers. We are totally independent and rely on volunteers to provide our services and to raise money to keep our services going. We have been established for more than 20 years.

Our Mission

To provide the highest quality advice and support to people with long-term health conditions, disabled people and their families and ensure they get the financial support and care services they are entitled to.

Our Objective

The promotion of social inclusion among individuals with disabilities including those with chronic disease or life limiting illness and their carers who are socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result, by providing high quality independent specialist advice, advocacy, information and support services.
